How to bake a pie...

Thanksgiving was at my brother, Jim's, this year and he did all of the cooking.  I might be the only "cook" who did not cook one darned thing for Thanksgiving.  He handed me a glass of wine and a rolling pin and set me to finishing his pumpkin pies when I got there.  I didn't get to make my cranberry  relish as I planned (though it has made it onto the menu at Ernesto's--had to replace the old recipe) because I just didn't get to food-shop.  I did contribute something to the meal, though!  Jim used the andouille that I gave him from Garde Manger class in the stuffing.
