I don't have an exact count, but I'm pretty sure that our team raised about $600 for Leukemia & Lymphoma research. We walked for my Grandad, who lost his battle with lymphoma in 2004, for my Uncle Eddie (mom's baby brother) who is still battling it, and Jon Messenger, my cousin, Jon's, dad who died of melanoma in 1999 (I think). Here's a team picture. It's missing two folks--Ken & Karen Messenger--who left before we took it. Pictured is me, Mark Christensen, Banjo & Lucifer Christensen, Suzanne Christensen (my cousin), Jon Messenger (Suzanne's son), Lee Burks, Cora Burks (my mom's little sister and Suzi & Dan's mom), and Dan Henry (my cousin).
