One week in, the restaurant phase at school is going great so far! Normally students don't actually serve folks until the fourth week of the phase but we were open for St. Patrick's Day on Thursday. We did a lot of prep work on Wednesday so Thursday went very smoothly. It was a great day. The best part? After we got the kitchen cleaned up we got to eat the leftovers!
Our little buffet:
We had corned beef, cabbage, whole red potatoes (made by me and Moshe' "call me Mo"), Irish stew, the yummiest horseradish sauce in the universe, potato and leek soup, another sauce, two kinds of soda bread made by Santa's baking class, butter, and bread pudding with caramel sauce. I ate way too much but it was GOOD!!!
