I had a lot of fun today!  I volunteered with the Chefs de Cuisine Association of St. Louis in their booth at St. Louis Uncorked, a wine and music festival downtown.  We sold boneless rib and cheeseburger sliders and Ben & Jerry's ice cream with proceeds benefiting ACF Culinary Team USA in the Culinary Olympics.  Two St. Louis chefs are on the team.  One of them, Chef Ben Grupe, worked with us today for a little while.  It was hot and humid but our booth was in the shade.  The food was good, music was great, and the company awesome.  I really enjoyed it!

This was our first sale of the day:

"Thick & Juicy" Rich LaRosa (area sales manager for Holten Meat,Inc.), a guy from Middendorf (one of our area's big food suppliers) whose name I don't think I ever caught, Chef Tony Haacke, and Chef Casey Shiller:

Andre, another L'Ecole Culinaire student:

Chef Williams, a culinary instructor at Forest Park College:

My new friend, T'Lisa, a culinary student at Forest Park AND a knitter!:

Just goofiness:

Rich, Chef Tony Haacke, Chef Casey Shiller, Sara--another L'Ecole student, and moi:
