Julianne let me go with her tonight to take care of the school district's chickens.  She goes a couple of times each week plus one weekend a month to let them out (open the door from the coop to their run) in the morning and back in at night and make sure they have food and water.  On the weekend she cleans the coop.  If there are eggs she brings them home.  There was a small white egg there tonight and I kept it.  There are three adult hens and fourteen babies.  We're sure that thirteen of them are girls.  There was no guarantee with the other.
